RNA 2021 On-line boasts an expanded scientific program and extensive networking and professional development opportunities for participants, including:
- Extended meeting dates – 11 days of moderated and live Q&A events May 25 – June 4, 2021
- Increased content accessibility – recorded presentations will be viewable on-line for a full 30 days
- 22 scientific sessions spanning traditional and bourgeoning fields in RNA research
- The most diverse and representative field of RNA researchers leading the sessions (2 chairs/session)
- 4 Keynote talks, including Xiang-dong Fu, Jennifer Doudna, Irene Bozzoni, and Sarah Woodson
- 2 RNA Society Lifetime Award in Science presentations – Matthias Hentze will present in honor of his 2020 award and Melissa Moore will present as our 2021 awardee
- 6 non-science sessions/panels/events in the areas of Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, Entrepreneurship, Diversity and Inclusion, Careers in Biotechnology, Mentee/Mentor networking, and a Job and Collaboration in Academia Jamboree
- Poster Sessions that include 3-minute audio links and portals for interacting with presenters
