Human Genome Meeting (HGM) is a series of annual conferences organized by the Human Genome Organisation (HUGO), with the mission to promote international collaborative effort to study the human genome and the myriad issues raised by knowledge of the genome (http://www.hugo-international.org/About-us).
In this meeting, all the exciting programs will be held in 4 days on "Genome Data and Health". We have invited outstanding speakers from abroad/Japan to ensure very strong interest and participation to the meeting. For the details of the program, please check the full program on the: https://www.hugo-hgm.org/program/scientific.
Apart from the outstanding speakers lineup, there are two main new aspects in the coming HGM events.
The first is a satellite trainee symposium, to give space to students and postdocs to present their research and a further chance to present in the main session.
The second important aspect is the dramatic reduction of registration fees in order to make the meeting affordable by a broad number of colleagues. For instance, early registration of HUGO member trainees is only 90 dollars, other HUGO members is 320 dollars (https://www.hugo-hgm.org/registration/online). This was made possible thanks to contribution (164th Committee on Genome Technology, RIKEN-CLST) and many key sponsors, to maximize attendance of young investigators.
We believe that by timely arranging of hotels and travel tickets, this will be surely a very affordable experience to attend to a key genomics meeting in Japan.
Early registrations are now open until December 17th (https://www.hugo-hgm.org/registration/online). Submitted abstracts will be selected for oral presentations and the trainee symposiums (when applicable).
