Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) asks the President of the RNA Society of Japan to nominate excellent researchers for the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Full and Honorary Members are encouraged to apply for the nominee.

2. Eligibility
Prize for Science and Technology: Applicants must be Regular or Honorary Members of the RNA Society of Japan at the time of application, nomination and commendation.
Young Scientists’ Prize: Applicants must be Full Members of the RNA Society of Japan at the time of application, nomination and commendation. They must be under 40 years of age on April 1, 2020.
Prize for Research Support: Applicants must be Regular or Honorary Members of the RNA Society of Japan at the time of application, nomination and commendation.
3. Number of Nominees
Maximum number of successful applicants nominated by the President of the Society.The Nominees shall be selected by the Council.
4. Application Forms
Applicants should submit their application forms via the Commendation for Science and Technology by MEXT page.（3）候補者推薦書 for the Young Scientists’ Prize should be directly submitted by the recommenders to the General Affairs Secretary.
